Asian cuisine and a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta in Morgan Hill

June 6, 2019 - May offered opportunities for celebration with an international flavor at Nueva Vista Morgan Hill. Psynergy's winter cover crop of Fava Beans found their way from the garden into an Asian stir-fry, which was enjoyed in its entirety before photos could document its deliciousness!  Cinco De Mayo got us dancing, and then residents took a swing (or 20!)  at a lovely pinata who perhaps deserved a kinder fate.  But everyone enjoyed the candy inside! 

Residents embraced Mental Health Awareness Month with a collaborative mural, emphasizing the importance of connections rather than labels. It has been displayed all month at the Morgan Hill Library.

Other activities included trips to Jamba Juice and a visit to the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center to enjoy the pool and water slide. Looking forward to many more fun outings and projects as summer arrives.
