About You

We are growing and looking for a clinical leader with expertise in evidence-based treatment practices for persons afflicted with severe and persistent mental illness. As Clinical Services Director, you will supervise four (4) Clinical Supervisors and develop and oversee specialty mental health services at five (5) outpatient clinics in Sacramento, Santa Clara and Monterey Counties. You will help oversee multi-disciplinary teams comprised of lead Behavioral Health Rehab Specialists, Nurses, Therapists and Psychiatrists providing recovery driven services. You will be working with adults (18+) who are diagnosed with a chronic mental illness (ex: schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD) and other co-occurring conditions. You will need:

  • Full Vaccination against COVID-19 – CA required
  • To be a licensed clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) – required
  • Clinical expertise working with SPMI – required
  • Person Centered and Recovery oriented – required
  • Great attitude – required
  • Experience working in behavioral health or in residential care – preferred

Your Responsibilities

As Clinical Services Director you will develop and implement evidence based Clinical Services and programming across multiple outpatient clinics serving individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and other co-occurring medical conditions and substance use.  As a member of the executive leadership team, you will:

  • Oversee clinical services at all Psynergy outpatient clinics
  • Oversee the efficient and successful delivery of services including maximizing client face to face time and continuously improving outcomes
  • Oversee development of Clinical Services Manual and creating and developing policies and procedures as needed
  • Identify and develop core programming and services
  • Supervise 4 clinical supervisors across four clinics in 3 different counties
  • Supervise Psychiatry Services and Medication Support Services for all clinics
  • Track and report performance and outcomes
  • Develop and provide trainings for all clinical staff

The pay range assigned to this role is based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
